New wind power project in Rajasthan

Hyderabad Industries has commissioned a 2.5 MW wind farm comprising two 1.25MW Suzlon Make Wind Turbines in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. This power will be sold to Jodhpur Vidhyut Vitran Nigam. They will also be eligible to get renewable energy certificates which can be traded in power exchanges. On reaching the optimum generation levels, the power generated from the company’s 7.35MW wind power plants will be equivalent to about 25% of the company’s power consumption, making the company’s green building products much more greener.
