VoIP application launched in India by Freephoo

@ThinkDigit: Sweden-based Freephoo launched VoIP application in India, for Android and iOS platform. It will offer users call facility from iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android phones free of cost, using Wi-Fi or 3G connections. Using premium services from Freephoo, users can make calls to fixed lines and mobile phones as well, at a nominal charge. The application has a feature ‘SuperHD’ sound quality which delivers high quality audio during calls. Also free calls to Facebook friends and LinkedIn connections can be made with this application.

Freephoo was founded in 2008 by entrepreneurs belonging to telecommunication sector in Sweden. The company has ever since been gaining momentum with its product offerings. Freephoo was mentioned on the Top Free Apps list, Top Social App list, as well as the Top Grossing app list, on Apple Application Store. Freephoo is also one of the first applications on Apple App Store allowing user to purchase premium talk-time via Apple’s own payment system.
