Chhattisgarh implements strict measures against fake drugs

The Chhattisgarh Food Drug Control Administration (FDCA) has taken a major step to control the circulation of spurious and substandard drugs along with controlling red tapism for various processes prevalent in pharmaceutical industry. In regard to spurious and substandard drugs circulating in the market, FDCA plans to publish the data online with their batch numbers and other relevant details.

The government has put in place an unique software Extended Laboratory Node through National Informatics Centre (NIC) to fulfill its plan. The Chhattisgarh FDCA initiated such a move taking a cue from the Gujarat government that is currently aiding Chhattisgarh for successful implementation of the project.

Hyundai to launch online service website

India’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest exporter of passenger cars, Hyundai Motor India Ltd has launched an online portal to develop its customer relationships.  The website will offer personalized services, enabling the customers to book serving slots in any Hyundai dealership across India. It will also provide other range of facilities, including accessing service history records, service schedule reminders, provide location of nearest service station, service and insurance calculators, warranty guidelines, owner’s manuals, maintenance tips and guidelines, downloadable service manuals, driving tips, etc.

The online portal is completely dedicated to Hyundai’s valued customers. It will be available in company’s corporate website.

The company already has 2 warehouses situated in Delhi and Mumbai. It also plans to launch products under their own label and increase its brand visibility through an online magazine. Recently, Fetsie had raised INR 250 mn through a venture capital firm – Seedfund for its expansion and marketing activities.

Fetsie offers high – end luxury clothing and accessories which are available in a price range of INR 300 – 40,000. The website has 7.5 lakh registered users and receives 60,000 hits a day. The company earns monthly revenue of INR 20-25 mn and handles over 500 transactions per day.
