Nokia 808 PureView to be unveiled in India this week

Nokia will be releasing its much talked about device Nokia 808 PureView. The device has been in the news for boasting an unbelievable camera with 41 mega-pixel sensor. The price of the device in India is unknown but it is expected to carry a pricey tag. The device will house a 1.3 GHz single-core processor with 512 MB of RAM running Nokia Belle OS. It will boast of a 4 inch AMOLED display, 16 GB of internal memory and other smartphone features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS navigation. The smartphone will also come with NFC capability. Nokia is expected to launch the device in the first-half of June, 2012.

The device belongs to the high-end phone segment but it remains to be seen if its much hyped camera with 41 mega-pixel Sensor can justify its high price. The smartphone’s success will also depend on its other smartphone features and how its 512 MB RAM  handles all the applications.
