ADF Foods expects revenue of INR 5 bn in five years

@Economic Times: ADF Foods, a Mumbai based food processing company and an export-oriented FMCG firm is eyeing a revenue generation of INR 5 bn in the next five years. It also expects 40% of its overall sales to come from the Indian market.

ADF Foods is all set to expand its business in India and has allotted a sum of INR 250 mn for brand building, marketing and increasing its distribution network. It has also decided to set up a manufacturing facility in the country in the next five years. The company has recently re-entered the domestic market with a vast range of ready to eat, ready to cook foods and pickles under the brand name ‘Soul’. It is also keen on launching new products which will be intended to cater to the Indian and international cuisine needs.

Currently, it has two facilities in Maharashtra and Gujarat wherein it manufactures food items such as: pickles, pastes, chutneys, ready-to-eat curries, frozen parathas, frozen snacks, frozen vegetables. The company primarily operates in North America, Europe, Australia, Middle East, Africa and Asia and maintains a network of more than 175 distributors.
